Review Format

In order to provide consistent reviews, I have developed the following format for all product/service reviews. This will generally appear at the top of the review in the form of an infographic that accompanies my detailed review.

Price Type: There are four types of pricing, Free Forever (no other options); Freemium (Free Forever + Premium Tier(s)); Free Trial (free for a limited time only); and Premium (paid options only)

Price Level: N/A (Free Forever offerings) $ – monthly cost of $5 or less, annualized cost of $60 or less, lifetime cost of $99 or less; $$ – monthly cost of $10 or less, annualized cost of $120 or less, lifetime cost of $249 or less; $$$ – monthly cost of $25 or less, annualized cost of $300 or less, lifetime cost of $499 or less; $$$$ – monthly costs over $25; annualized costs over $300 and lifetime cost over $500.

Affiliate Program: Yes or No – if there are any restrictions on the affiliate program (such as it requires you to be a paying customer first), I’ll provide details.

Money-back guarantee: Yes, No or N/A + duration

Support: N/a (For services) One star awarded for each of the following – user (maximum of five stars awarded) documentation, FAQs, user forum, email support, live chat support, telephone support.

All other parts of the review will be subjective, except for things like feature/functionality lists, etc. These are my opinions, so your mileage may vary.

SlideCarnival

In this brief SliceCarousel review, I’ll let you know what this tool is and how you can use it.

SlideCarnival is an awesome resource for those of use presentation graphics for webinars or screencast-type videos. The site has hundreds of free templates that can be used in Google Slides, Powerpoint or Canva. As always, make sure that you understand the licenses that these resources have been released under and to be on the safe side, I’d delete any images that they contain and use images for which you have purchased a license.
